Tigh Loughhead HoF Salesforce MVP, Forcery CEO and Agentforce Expert speaking at Dreamforce 2025 on Agentblazer Legend Tips

The following is a synopsized transcript of Tigh Loughhead's 2025 Dreamforce Session, " A Champion, an Innovator and a Legend share Agentblazer Tips."

What was your driving force to complete the entire journey and achieve Legend status?

My first reaction to the announcement of Agentforce last year was "what does this mean for me?" What does this mean for my job... what does this mean for my industry... what does this mean for my community? How can i use this tool as a platform for change? And to be honest, at the time there weren't really compelling use cases for marketers listed on Salesforce's website.

So for the World Tour in New York a month later, I pitched that question in a session I called "Agentforce for Marketers," where I broke down the question into three facets of what I think of as the core function of marketing... "How can agentic assistance enable better engagement," "How could an agent support marketing operations," and "What could an agent facilitate or surface in reporting or analysis?"  this gave us a whole Use casse

The session was double capacity, and I realized there's so much interest and momentum in this idea, I had better become an Agentblazer... and that continued to be a driving force throughout my Agentforce journey.

How has reaching Legend shaped your professional growth or opened new opportunities?

I'm not formally a project manager... I was never trained as a coder... though I've tried to study coding, I really struggle with syntax and proofing code ...but throughout my Agentforce journey I'm starting to be... now much better at managing operations and agendas with my client, and realized I've become a de facto developer.

And now I'm getting obsessed with this idea of vibe coding, bc it’s already something I’m doing in my day to day.

I’m using AI for Meeting notes, summarizing next steps and action items. I’m even using AI to write hundreds of test use cases or even investigate write Apex triggers for customers… if you ask the right questions ("what does this function do? What is this method?") and if you have a conceptual framework of what you're doing and can articulate very discreet business requirements... you can code...  I've even gained the confidence to learn how to use a command line interface; all of that was inspired by the professional growth unlocked during my AgentForce journey.

In what ways do you now foster a culture of innovation in your team or organization?

Today... AI is not coming to take my job- but it is going to take away some of the boring tasks that I might feel way too comfortable doing... that if I'm honest... aren't really my core value of thinking creatively or strategically.

And while AI isn’t going to come for my job, someone who can effectively leverage AI to perform more effectively or efficiently at a lower cost certainly is… so augmentation is really the future.

I kind of feel like we now need to be augmented human to thrive, but the good news is that this is the ground floor.  We're just at the cusp of understanding where AI is useful to us and where it's not.  And I think the culture of innovation is realizing that now is the time seize the opportunity to differentiate ourselves as a super powered, augmented individuals.

How has becoming a Legend prepared you for the future of AI and autonomous agents?

I think learning the language is often a huge part of breaking into a new field.  The lexicon and basic concepts are the building blocks of

But the thing is... Agentforce is accessible to everyone. You don't need to be an expert in any field to become an agentblazer.

On Trailhead, you can learn Prompt Engineering, Data Cloud, Flow and all of the tools you need to be ready for the future of AI and autonomous agents. And anyone can do it.

What excites you most about the future of AI in your field, and what role do you see yourself playing in it?

At my core, I identify as a marketer! I started my career at an agency as a data driven performance marketer... then I became a practitioner of marketing automation... now I like to think of myself as a strategic marketing orchestrator...

I've had to make several major pivots in my career, which is really scary and uncomfortable.  But I want to echo one of the sentiments we heard at the keynote yesterday I believe in many aspects of my life, "if you're not a little uncomfortable or nervous about the future, you're probably not growing." And the thing is... this is where opportunity lies.  By doing the thing, then automating the thing... and now learning how orchestrate the automation, my impact and value are exponentially higher than when I was deploying a Google Ads campaign or clicking send on an email.

I don't know if you've seen the capabilities of Campaign Designer in Next Gen Marketing, previously Marketing Cloud Advanced... I can deploy an entire campaign... the salesforce objects, the flows, the triggers, timing and decision steps... and the assets... all by speaking to an agent.

What is one action you’d encourage every aspiring Agentblazer in the audience to take after this panel?

Well, I couldn't have gone anywhere in my Agentblazer journey without the Trailblazer Community. Now I always want to be an early-adopter for my own community, but if I hadn't had help from brilliant and far more skilled people along the way, I would never have started, never would have gotten the Agentforce Certification (it was the AI Specialist when I got it), and I certainly never would have passed the Flow or Apex Superbadges.

Because I'm not a developer, I wasn't previously a Flownatic... I had to spend a ton of time certain things.  But I stuck to Trailhead, I asked questions of the Trailblazer Community.  I was stuck for a week on a superbadge b/c I had the wrong sort order on a Get Records element... and completely blocked b/c the auto formatting of a Flow API name... but I put myself out there and asked the Trailblazer Community, and managed to get through.

So my advice is to go to the next Agentforce Community event. Don't limit yourself to your role or job description. And if you get stuck, put yourself out there, because I guarantee someone else is struggling with something similar.  Leverage the community, and it will propel you into the future.
